Spring 2014 President’s Message

Welcome to a new Cycling Season Laughing

Spring has sprung, the trees andflowers are in bloom, the grasses are green and it’s beautiful weather to ride.  Some of you have already started your training for the upcoming season. If you haven’t joined us for one of our many scheduled rides, make it a point to do so. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Some of the regular activities of our club include local rides, spring and fall Time Trial, out of town club rides, BBQs, meetings in the park, Bike Path Litter Adoption Program pick up etc.

We also put on our own Altamont Century each October. This event is by invitation only and is always a hit. If you would like to make sure you get invited, come out and ride with us. See if you like the club. If so, join and you are in!

We have some new faces on the Board of Directors this year as well as some seasoned members. I am sure there will be some nice suggestions on how to continue seeing our club grow and get even better.

Please take a moment to browse and become familiar with our website. There is a local and out of town ride calendar. This year we added Pace and Terrain designations. They are listed in the Rides and Events section under Ride Designations. Also take a moment to browse our Photo Galleries.

Be safe out there. And as always, hope to “See you on the Road”
